I don't know of any other name than John, who would be my great-grandfather. My grandfather's brother, David visited when I was a child. We visited near New Concord, an Aunt Kate (sister to both).I don't recall her married name or any children. It could be there is a connection since I don't know the rest of the family. I was told at the funeral in 1965,that we were only ones to spell our last name with "d". I wish I could have found the "cousin" who told me that. But no one recalls. It has bothered me ever since. The funeral home was Campbell's in Barnesville. My grandfather was Street Commissioner in 1947 there. Very well known. So I keep hoping someone will remember who my relatives were. I am now 71.
Pretty late to search, but I keep hoping.
Please let me know if you have learned anything about the Hines family you are connected with. Then maybe some piece will fit.
