Baker family in Colerain
Posted by: Sara Grosskettler Date: January 16, 2001 at 21:40:50

I found a book of Tombstone inscriptions and Family Records on a library trip to San Francisco and in it found a listing for John Baker b. 11-7-1829 son of Joseph. Reference to John being born in Colerain. I am looking for the parents of Simeon Baker. His civil war record says he was born Feb. 19, 1830 in Belmont Co. but nothing more. I would like more information on the Joseph Baker family. I did not find Colerain on the map of Ohio so I would appreciate someone telling me about where it is located. If anyone has any material I would be most appreciative. Thank you, Sara
