I am researching the Israel family that was originally from Belmont & Morgan Counties of Ohio. They later married into the Stice, & Allen families that were originally from Missouri, but were in Appanoose Co, Iowa about 1900 -1925. Family members later moved to Minnesota.
I am especially interested in locating the death date and burial location of Robert Israel's 2nd wife, Margaret S. (Cherry) Israel. I know she was still living at the time of the 1925 Iowa state census as she was living with her granddaughter, Ora (Allen) Johnson.

He married (2) MARGARET S. CHERRY 10 Mar 1870 in Morgan Co., Ohio4, daughter of Peter Cherry and Charlotte Nesselrode.

Per 1881 history book of Grundy Co, Missouri, Robert moved to Morgan Co., Ohio when he was 7 years old. He moved to Grundy Co,. Missouri in 1871. His first marriage was to Miss Lomira Vaughn, a native of Morgan Co, Ohio on 9 Oct 1856, and had one child, Clary Israel, born 22 July 1857, currently living in Iowa (1881). Lomira died 1 May 1860.
