JL,
Thought I would let you know I exhausted all avenues of finding the sexton. I wrote to the library, Belmont county recorder and got several leads off the internet and NONE of them panned out. According to Caldwells History of Jefferson and Belmont Counties, this cemetery was on private land. No one has records to it. Seems kinda funny however someone would have to know when burying someone to make sure the spot wasn't already occupied. I am currently waiting on a Plat map from the Belmont County engineers. That probably won't lead anywhere either. Maybe someday someone can give me and others searching for the records some leads that would help us discover what we are desparately looking for.

Regards,
Peggy
