I was recently doing some research at the Salt Lake FHC and have an AMOS FAWCETT researched in Belmont County Richland Twp. In the book "Tombstone Inscriptions & Family Records of Belmont County Ohio" under AMOS FAWCETT it reads: "born here 1826. First of his family to this country was Thomas Fawcett, native of ire.; to Pa., 1750, then to Va. Bur. in Mt Pleasant Cem., Frederick Co., Va. His son Thomas m Rachel Vale and had: Joel, Rebecca, Simeon, Levi, Nathan, Amos, Martha, Edward, & Thomas (d.y.) They were reared on their grandfather's farm, settled upon in 1814. In 1848 Amos m Charity Sutton, dau. of Zachariah & Nancy (King), and gr-dau. of Jonathan Sutton. They had: Zachariah, Mary, Esther, Harry & John. Member of M E. Church." I don't know if this will be any help.
