Wendy, have you tried other names for Jonah?
On son Clayton's DC his name is Jonathan; 1880 census he is Joseph. Clayton d 2-6-1936 Bellaire [Richland Twp] bur Davis Cem

1900 Jonah's son, Robert is living with his 1/2 sis Eliza Jane[CROOKS]THORNTON; b 1-19-1875; d 8-67-1938 bur Farmington Cemetery, Pease Twp; father James CROOKS
Clayton is next door with John & Mary HELD.

7-31-1874 James CROOKS m. Margaret E MC GARRY, Belmont OH
4-21-1880 Jonah THOMPSON m. Margaret MC GEARY, Belmont OH

Most all of the above b Blaine, Belmont OH
Alfred K [Kinsey] MC GARY b. 3-4-1858 Blaine; d 11-26-1920 Richland Twp; bur Linwood Cem, Blaine. Parents not listed.

Maybe one of these cemeteries is where your Margaret & Minnie are bur.

None of these folks are in my Belmont resources.
