What is Upper and Lower Wegee? I wasn't aware of Thompson Cemetery. Does it go by another name? I'm going to have to look around a bit more on the Belmont County website to try and find more info. And about Shadyside, it that Blaine? My ggreat grandmothers oldest daughter, Eliza Jane Crooks, born in Jan 1875 shows on her death certificate she was born in Blaine. She died in Aetnaville. On Margarets death record, it doesn't show a cemetery. It just shows that she died in Pease Twp on March 9, 1897 of typhoid fever. On my ggreat grandfathers brother Claytons death certificate it shows he was born in 1882 in Blaine. My ggreat grandfathers death certificate shows he was born in Martins Ferry. He died in Pittsburgh. The man who I think was my ggreat grandmothers brother I believe was Alfred McGary. I have his death certificate from 1920. He shows he was born in Blaine in March of 1858. My Margaret was born in April of 1859. I'd bet it was in Blaine. But I've been unable to find Blaine in the Census for 1860. And as for my ggreat grandfather, Jonah Thompson, he was listed as Joseph with Margaret in 1880 and then Jonah in 1900 and then he dropped from sight. I wrote for death records from 1900 on and they are nowhere to be found. He might be listed under Jonah, Joseph or Jonathan. Jonathan is on Claytons death certificate. So if you know of any other way I can get any information regarding how to find out about them (ie siblings, etc) please let me know. I am a resident of PA and so am not real familiar with how to go about things in Ohio. Thanks for your help.
