Have been surprised at where and when they were in different places, so would not want to rule out anything, without checking!! THANK YOU FOR CHECKING FOR US! There would not be any TAX RECORDS, for Sturgeon prior to around 1820, they lived around What became Barnesville, according to info we have, 1820 to summer of 1830, when they went to Green Up Co. Ky.---There were older males in the household, believed to be from his prior marriages.--The same area where he lived had Sturgeon families, until probably 1930, but, they are given as having been from Rueben Sturgeon, of Monroe Co.--Robert and William Sturgeon families?
