I grew up in Neffs, Ohio. At one time it was listed as the largest unincorporated village in the U.S. The town is very small, there are a number of churches, Presbyterian, Methodist, Catholic-an American Legion Hall, a pool-hall, public library, a couple of small markets, post office. There is an old railroad track that runs through the middle of town. They just recently built (within the last 5yrs or so) a new fire house that is on the main street of town and not on a side street. Many residences. When I was a child we were able to run throughout all the yards playing. There are a couple of ball fields, and a playground near the old school house. Everyone knew everyone and by the time I would walk to the store and home again, my mother would know every person that I had even said hello to. :o) Sincerely, J.L.
