You may have answered a 20 year 'brick wall' without realizing it.

Among the children of Daniel and Elizabeth Givens, you note an Andrew. Is there any chance that he was born about 1819 and had a middle name beginning with 'S'?

My wife's gggrandfather, Andrew S. Givens seems to suddenly appear in Ohio and marries Elizabeth Shaul in Champaigne, Ohio in about 1848 before they moved to Madison County, Indiana. We may have been mislead by a local 'history' which reported that Andrew came from Michigan.

Could your Andrew be my Andrew? They named their children John Luther, Dotterage, and Kirk. Dotterage and Kirk seem unusual for the time period.
