Nancy, first you send a written request to them, they locate the file, send you back a letter telling you what they have found and the cost and then you send the money, I sent a money order so I wouldn't have to wait for the check to clear, but that was my choice. I think it is just $1.00 per page but I maybe wrong. I know I got everything in my ggrandfathers probate file for $9.00. Patti
