Spalding/Spaulding

Researching George (b. 1788) and Hannah Spaulding who lived in Belmont County, OH in 1840. Can't find them in 1850. Appear in 1860 Brown County, IN. Known children are William born abt 1826; Susan b. abt 1829; John A. born abt 1831 died 1863; James b. abt 1834; George W. born abt 1836. In 1860 the family is in Brown County, IN.

George's brother was William Spalding (born 1790) and wife Mary from MD. Their children were Mary b.1819 married William Sutton 1845; George W. born 1827 married Lydia GATES; Joseph b. 1830; may have married Adeline Scott; William Spalding b. 1832; Elizabeth Spalding b. 1834; Julia Spalding b. 1836; Edward Spalding b. 1838; Henry H. Spalding b. 1840; Aaron Spalding b. 1843; Catherine Spalding b. 1847. By 1860 William Spalding (born 1790) had moved to Bartholomew County, IN. Only Henry and Aaron show up in his household. Wife Mary died 1859 and is buried in the Jonesville City Cemetery.
