9 Apr 1980 Sidney Daily news; age 82 father of Mrs Virgil (Fern) Hirschfield of New Bremen died at his home. He had been ill several years. The son of Jmaes E. and Mellinda Smith Mallory. Survivors include his wife the former Bertha Ehrenphort, two daughters, six grandchildren, nnine great-grandchildren and a sister. He was a retired farmer and auctioneer. Burial in Elm Grove cemetery.
