Would like to know what happened to Alfred & Abigail WARD after 1880, dates/places of deaths, and any other personal info about their lives in Ohio/Mich if anyone knows of this family or their parents, Roswell & Lucy WARD and Miles & Harriet PLUMB. Also seeking marriage record c1870 (Ohio/Mich?) between Catherine WARD & John CHAMBERLAIN.

Alfred F. WARD, b. Ashfield, Mass. abt 1830 md 17Jan1850 at Conneaut to Abigail L. PLUMB, b. abt 1832 probably in Erie Co., NY. Alfred was youngest of 12 children of Roswell WARD, b. 29July1790 at Ashfield, MA & d. Conneaut 3Nov1867, and Lucy MALLORY?, born c1790 in MA or VT & d. 10Nov1867 at Conneaut. Abigail was daughter of Miles D. PLUMB, b. Nov1802 Milford, CT, & d. 22Apr1872 LaSalle, Monroe Co., MI, and Harriet STEPHENS, b. 15Sep1808 MA & d. 2Mar1885 LaSalle, Monroe, MI.

Alfred & Abigail WARD are found in Conneaut in 1840 & 1850 censuses then Middleton Twp, Wood Co. in 1860 and finally at Monroe Co., MI in 1870 & 1880. Only two known children, Catherine "Kate" WARD b. 4June1852 (md. abt 1870? to John CHAMBERLAIN) and Mary WARD b. c1863 (md. 1881 to Jacob WAHL).

Thanks for any help! Robert rwcdsc@yahoo.com
