My great grand aunt Lydia STOWE born abt 1820 <of Ashtabula, Ashtabula >, OH died after 1880 of Geneva, Ashtabula, OH. Lydia STOWE was living in Ashtabula, OH in 1850 (census) with her parents (Apollos STOWE and Laura TRACY) with her son, Tracy BARNUM born abt Nov 1844-1845 <of Ashtabula, Ashtabula >, OH -whose father is unknown.
By the time of the 1860 census Geneva, Ashtabula co, OH Lydia (STOWE) BARNUM and her son, Tracy BARNUM were living with Henry STEPHENS, a dry goods merchant, to whom she was now married - and living with them were Henry's 5 STEPHENS children from his 1st marriage.
Tracy BARNUM became an attorney; he married 31 Jan 1872 in Ashtabula co, OH Helen E WRIGHT born abt Aug 1852-1853 in OH and they had a son Guy Wright BARNUM born 1 Nov 1872 <of Geneva>, Ashtabula co, OH who also became a lawyer.
Guy Wright BARNUM married abt 1898 Hattie F Unknown -born abt Aug 1872 in New York -they were on the 1900 census in Beaver, Beaver co, Oklahoma and I can't find them after that.
On the 1900 census Geneva, Ashtabula, OH; Tracy BARNUM was 54 born Nov 1845 OH VT OH an attorney with his wife Helen W age 46 born Aug 1853 OH NY OH -they had been married for 28 yrs and had one child who was still living.
