I found him spelled as ERBAN Palmer, son of Ezekiel (a Rev War soldier) from CT. Erban was born 1 Jul 1787 at Warren, Litchfield CT. He certainly had an interesting life as a blacksmith apprentice, foundry worker, Master of a Vessel-- traveling ports of South America. He found religion rather late in his life and became Presbyterian.
Having lived several places in CT, NY and OH he ended up in Orwell, Ashtabula Co OH where he died of consumption at age 60. If you're looking for a specific name of a church you can check for Presbyterian churches in the Orwell, Ashtabula Co vicinity.
