I am not aware that any Grover became a Mormon at some point - unfortunately actual Grover research and books done on them have been scant and even now trying to get answers is like looking for a needle you know where. I will take another look at my Grover information to see if I can come up with the Gamaliel you are searching for, who most likely would be a brother to the Gurdon I am currently working on, who is the father of another Gamaliel that I am also working on... Not sure at this point that we are speaking of the same Gamaliel- this name game gets a bit confusing at times. Anyway, let me see what I can find and will get back to you, off site. Perhaps we can discuss this better by an exchange of e-mails. Do I understand correctly that you are not a Grover descendant but someone who is doing just research on Mormons who ever they may be, so long as they are located in Ashtabula?
