Looking for a marriage record for Jacob Dayton and Clarissa Mix in one of the Ohio counties.
Based on the 1850 census which tells of the children being born in Ohio, I assume that the marriage took place in Ohio too.
The 1850 census reading for Bainbridge, Geauga County, Ohio
J.T. Dayton age 31, male, carpenter, born unknown
Clarissa Dayton age 43, female, born New York
Caroline Dayton age 9, female, born Ohio
E.J. Dayton age 7, female, born Ohio
Lorenzo Dayton age 1, male, born Ohio
