April 19, 1917 Rev. Daniel Volz died in Lima, Ohio. He had lived in Dearborn Co. Indiana, Wood Co. Ohio and Cook Co. Il. and had family in Indiana and Illinos but here he was almost 82 years old (born Sept 16, 1836) so why would he have been living in Lima away from his family. His wife died in 1900 in Cook Co.IL. and it mentioned he was a retired Minister. Could there have been a home for retired Methodist minister located there? It gave his address as 514 E. Linden in Lima. I looked for that address but it doesn't exit anymore. Any help on this gentleman would be appreciated.
