Records from the Ottawa Valley TB Hospital are retained at the Center for Archival Collections, Jerome Library, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH 43403. Good Luck. To my knowledge there was no fire at the Auglaize Co. courthouse. There WAS at the Allen Co. one; however, it didn't touch any vital statistic records. His birth SHOULD be accessible through the Auglaize Co. Health Dept. Again, good luck.
