John & Nathaniel McCutchen, Adams Co., late 1700s/early 1800s

Need help with these McCutchens. John McCutchen lived there abt. 1790 - 1805, probably later. He had a son named Nathaniel McCutchen born there in abt. 1803. Nathaniel lived in Sprigg Township. Up against brick wall. Can't find out where that original John McCutchen came from and do not know who his father and mother were. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Will dearly love for someone to respond with advice.
