Looking for the family of Dorcas Finley b 1822 who married Matthew Morrow Cross in Adams County in 1849 and relocated to Mercer County Illinois a few years later; immediate family may have included Thomas Maxwell Finley b abt 1828 and Miss S. J. Finley b 1832 who also resided in Mercer Co. Illinois in the 1850s/60s. Dorcas' father's name was William Finley and likely was one of the Williams listed in the Adams Co. census reports (and may be who married Ann Maxwell in Adams Co. in 1814)
Any family tree information on the Finley surname for Adams County, Ohio in the 1810 - 1850 time frame would be appreciated.
