Hi Debbie,
I hope to help out with the Burks. I'm very familiar with Georgia history and in particuliar where the Burks were living, Morgan and Coweta Counties. I'll see what I can locate on ANY Burk in those area's. Its really odd, because my maternal ancestry connects to at least four Burke in Georgia, so who knows! I have often wondered if the Burks were connected to the Georgia families by the same name. Let me know how your research is coming! Mother sends her best.
