You should go to the DAR and request a look up on John Ogletree Sr. they will ask for your next ancestor and for other information. I am a member of the DAR under John Ogletree, Sr. you will find documentation of his service in a Caswell Co. North Carolina heritage book. however the best way is, to ask the DAR for an application,that they have closest to your ancestor, they have on file all the applications for people who have qualified for DAR under John Ogletree.
