Oh my, I really appreciate the information. I've not had very much time for family research due to professional obligations, ugh...I hope to get back to more after Christmas. I'm thrilled with the Burk(e) data! I did some work on the Burks (did you find it spelt with an E?)but all I came up with was John L. Burk, no middle name was known. I had NO name for John's wife either! I would love to be included in this research, can you add me to the emails? Where were they living, Al? Don't have my group sheet in front of me, but I think I had notes they were from AL and GA and that John L. went to Texas? That could be wrong however, so plese, fill me in! Thanks!
