I've not had very much time for family research due to professional obligations, ugh...I hope to get back to more after Christmas. I'm thrilled with the Burk(e) data! I did some work on the Burks (did you find it spelt with an E?)but all I came up with was John L. Burk, no middle name was known. I had NO name for John's wife either! I would love to be included in this research, can you add me to the emails? Where were they living, Al? Don't have my group sheet in front of me, but I think I had notes they were from AL and GA and that John L. went to Texas? That could be wrong however, so plese, fill me in! Thanks!
