Hi,

I'm an American Ogilvie. Well, I'm a Hedgepeth now, but will always be an Ogilvie as well. I live in Mooresville, NC USA and was reared in Wilkesboro, NC where my paternal grandfather arrived from Aberdeen,Scotland over 100 years ago. He was Archibald Reid Ogilvie and my father was Gordon Finley Ogilvie as is his son. I visited some relatives in Edinborough by the name of Martin (Alistair?)back in 1974 or 5. I have had no contact with any of them for many years. There was a girl named Erica Martin whom I met with Alistair and his son and his wife. I know there was some relation to the MacDonalds and Forsyths as well. All my maiden aunts who knew family history and my father and uncles (George and Sam)are deceased now and I'm left wishing I knew more, but with little to spend to acomplish it. Angela Ogilvie Hedgepeth--653 Franklin Grove Drive Mooresville, NC 28115.
