I am looking for ancestors and cousins of the family of George Ogilvie (b. April 6. 1852) and Isabella Binney or Benney (b. November 15, 1857) both of Hawick, Roxfordshire, Scotland.
George was son of John Ogilvie and Eliza Bowie. Isabella's parents are not known.
George and Isabella immigrated to Hartford Connecticut USA about 1891. They had the following children:
Charlotte Ogilvie (married a Young)
Georgina (married a Cody)
Isabella (married a Risley)
James B Ogilvie
John Ogilvie
Thomas H Ogilvie
William John Ogilvie
George Ogilvie was a stonecutter. He died May 8, 1905 in Hartford, Connecticut.
Any information about the Ogilvies of Hawick would be most welcome.
