Do you know anything more about your particular Ogilvie family. I have some information on Ogilvie's from Oglethorpe County, Georgia and Coweta County, Georgia. Some of what I have comes from the internet, some from Oglethorpe County history and some from Ogilvie descendants. I myself am not a descendant but my cousins are. I have done some research for them. Thre is an Artemus Watson Ogilvie who lived in Coweta County, Georgia and died in 1855-he was son of James Ogilvie. He had a sister Elizabeth Temperance Ogilve who married John Holmes.
