Ogg's in Adams County Indiana

My Grandfather was Perry J. Ogg of Decatur, IN. I don't know a great deal about my Great Grandfather other than his name was George Washington Ogg. (Legend had it he named himself.) He married Victoria Andrews in Adams County Indiana. She died 6 months after my Grandfather was born. George left Perry with his wife's sister and went to Boone County KY where he re-married to a lady named Laura and then returned to Decatur, IN. They had several children, Susan, Bessie Belle (Roop), Pearl (Potts), Lois (Kuhne) and Woodson Ogg. George and Layra are buried in the Maplegrove Cemetary in Decatur, IN.

Perry Johnathan Ogg married Lula Lucille Durr, she died shortly afterwards. He married Annis Merle Niblick (Blufton, IN) and they had 5 children. Lula Victoria (Bolt), Lucille (Stauffer), Mary Catherine (Drew) , Dorothy Lois (Reed) and Giles Woodson Ogg. Perry owned a new and used furniture store, first in Decatur and then in Fort Wayne, IN. Perry, Lula Lucille and my Grandmother are buried in the Maplegrove Cemetary in Adams County, Indiana
