Hi Nate,
Our family comes out of Athens County, OH. Andrew Ogg married Debbie Carr and had children in New England Town, Athens County, OH. One of their children was Samuel C. Ogg b. Jan 31, 1862. I think there may have been another son by the name of Andrew also, but am unsure. Samuel ended up coming to Shelton, Washington after a career as a law man. From what I was told he traveled with a man called Billy Day who they later named Dayton, WA after. They came here in 1888 and that branch of the family has been here ever since. Anything sound familiar? I think Andrew Ogg and Debbie Carr married in Ohio around 1850.

Stacy I. Ogg
Shelton, WA
