Thank you; I copied John M. SMITH's name wrong from Wheeler.

I hoped to find the connection between Curt SMITH and Helen (surname unknown), of Deposit and Binghamton, and the OGDEN Family. My father, Francis OGDEN HATHAWAY referred to them as cousins and I hoped that Edgar Franklin SMITH might have been the link, since he was descended from Betsy Raymond OGDEN, sister of my great grandfather, Edgar Gregory OGDEN.

Any clues to how Curt and/or Helen may have been related to either the OGDEN or HATHAWAY families will be welcome. Both they and their daughter, Carol, are deceased, and they have no other descendants.
