Seeking information on E.E. Ogden born about 1805 in New York and married to Cynthia according to the 1850 Census of Jefferson County, Kentucky. Referencing the birth locations of his children in that census, the family moved to Kentucky about 1838 from New York.
The children of E.E. Ogden found on the 1850 Census are:
1) Joseph Ogden, born Aug 1831 in NY, married Caroline and lived in Clark County, Indiana.
2) John Jarvis Ogden, born Oct 1836 in NY, married 1st Permelia J. Lutz and 2nd Mary, and lived in Clark Co., IN.
3) Floyd Ogden, born about 1839 in KY, married Mary and lived in Fisherville, Jefferson County, KY.
4) Francis (Frank) Ogden, born Sep 1849 in KY, married Laura Scarce d/o J.B. and Juliette Scarce, and lived across the river in Jeffersonville, Clark County, IN.
