Thanks Wendell for the follow-up. I'm still getting my head wrapped around this concept and the possibilities it might bring. Being of scientific mentality, I would love to find 5-6 males with known common ancestor back about 4-5 generations (but different ancestry since) and "prove" to myself that this technology works. However, the entry hurdles ($ and skeptical nature many will have of DNA testing) will be difficult to cross I imagine. Oh well, maybe with time. One question on your post; I presume you know that O-1 descends from Henry through Aquilla based on separate correspondence you two have had? (as I don't see anything on the Ogden Project page that discusses). I don't have an OW Ogden in any of my lineage from Aquilla, so it might be useful to compare notes.
