Have been searching my husband's side of the family (Ogden from Elizabeth, NJ). When I was checking the posting and saw all of the descendent out there from different branches of John and Jane I figure I would put out there what I have been able to find. Descendent of John "The Pilgram" Ogden + Jane Bond from our branch is as follow:
Joseph born 1642 + Sarah Whitehead;
Joseph born 1681 + Joanna Baker;
Daniel born 1711 + Mary ?; (would appreciate any info here)
Timothy born 1740 + Hannah Chapman;
Moses born 1774 + Rhoda Halsey;
John born 1800 + Joanna Ross;
James C. born 1832 + 1st wife Lydia (?) not sure of name, 2nd wife Jennie; (any help on vertify Lydia and what Jennie's maiden name was would be appreciated)
Frank C. born 1859 + Mar?; (any help here would be appreciated-I figure she was at least a Mary)
Joseph C. born 1883 + Evelyn Leary
One spot that was interesting was that Joanna Ross descends from a Aaron Ross and Sarah Ogden. Sarah's parents were Daniel and Ann b. 1740 d. 1794. I have a Daniel Jr. who was the son of Daniel b. 1711 and the brother of Timothy b. 1740. Can this be the same Daniel? Also how many childern did John and Jane actually have and who is Sarah Gosmer? Any help in vertify or additional info would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.
