My grandmother was Mary O'Gara - Frank (Francis) O'Gara's sister and, therefore, Ambrose and Elizabeth O'Gara's daughter.

She married Frank Atkin and lived around the Chorlton-on-Medlock area of Manchester. My dad (Tony Atkin) was brought up in Ducie Grove and most of the family lived there as well after marrying. Tony Atkin was a triplet (pretty rare in 1934) and his parents received 5 from the king (not a bad sum in those days).
I don't know much about the O'Garas but I think there must still be plenty of them in the Manchester area.
