Need help with Roscommon O'Gara's

I am quickly running out of options and need some serious help. My wife's grandmother was Margaret McLoughlin. I have the 1901 census that shows her father and mother (Martin McLoughlin and Brigid (O'Gara)). I wrote to the Registrar General in Roscommon for Margaret's birth records. They have responded that they can't find any. I figure maybe if I could find some of the O'Gara family this might lead me in the right direction. Anyway, Brigid'd father was Patrick O'Gara and mother was Brigid (Gannon). I have them all from Cloonfree, Strokestown, Roscommon, but with the information from the registrar maybe Margaret wasn't born there. One of my wife's family members claims that she was baptized RC at the Immaculate Conception Church. I believe her to have been born 31 Dec 1888. On US census she claims to have come over in 1894 on one census and 1904 on another. My wife wants to get dual citizenship so I need to prove her birth.

Please help if you can,

Jim
