I think in all probability I am related to this Thomas O'Gara.
In the 1861 census Sarah Hemlin 21 is lodger at 17 Lomas StRegistration district: Manchester
Sub-registration district: London Road
with
Elizabeth Ogara 8
Mary Ogara 25
Thomas Ogara 34
Thomas Ogara 5
She later marries James O'Gara b 1835 in Ireland. I think
this would be a staggering coincidence unless James & Thomas were related. As born c 9 years apart think likely brothers or cousins but do not know for sure.
Wed in 1862 & have children: Elizabeth Ellen, John Dudley, Catherine , John Henry , James , Joseph , Thomas , Mary & Arthur Edward .
This James marries Catherine (think nee Locke)& their son, John Dudley was my grandfather.
