My great grandmother came from Batley in Yorkshire her name was mary ellen o,gara, her father thomas on the 1891 census in england said he is from cambrigeshire marsh, but i cannot find a birth cert in england for him, he would of been born in the 1840s perhaps his name was bartholomew thomas, speaking to a relative in yorkshire she told me the family were from sligo, mary ellen went on to have a first son called thomas bartholomew? also when mary ellens parents were married his father was bartholomew, if you would like any more information let me know
