I am looking for information on a Robert H. Offutt's parents. I was able to discover through 1880 census records in Greenfield, Hancock County, Indiana that his mother's first name was Elizabeth and that she was born about 1821 in Kentucky, that both her parents were listed as being born in Virginia, and that she was a widow. She was shown living with her son Robert and his family. I have also found an Indiana death record that states that an Elizabeth Offutt who was born about 1822 died in Greenfield, Indiana, on March 17, 1896. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
