Wish to be in contact with anyone having knowledge of a George Walker (b. abt 1773/Scotland--d. circa 1817/probably Philadelphia) who married (1794) a Martha Crauford (born 1777 at Prince George's County, MD). She died in 1796 in childbirth. Her parents were David and Sarah (Offutt) Crauford.
George Walker was a merchant at Philadelphia and Georgetown, MD., and also, during the 1790s, an early landowner/speculator in the new Federal City (Washington, D.C.). His long-ago landholdings included the current-day site of the U.S. Supreme Court.
