I have some information on that family, but not as much as I would like. Both daughters appear in my records to have died in the early 1900's. As to Emeline Butt, I'm sorry to say that other than a year of birth (1827) and a date of marriage to Thomas H. (From the Montgomery County Sentinel. "Thomas H. Offutt - married Element Butt both of Montgomery County. On May 21, 1857 in Georgetown DC by Rev. TB Remmack". Written Jun. 5, 1857) as well as the list of children of their marriage she and Thomas are somewhat of a mystery.
