Sue, you do no need to apologize. I understand. I have Aaron Brown's Rev. War record and a Bible dated 1830. From this I knew Aaron's daughter was Pheobe Brown. Pheobe's mother was Nancy Payne and Nancy's mother was Pheobe Offill. The dates did not correspond with yours, so I thought you may have been a couple of generations off on Pheobe Offill, but I filed it away for another time. I am working on another branch of the family and plan to write another book on the Brown/Staples/Payne connection. If you come up with anymore info on Offill, please let me know. I cannot find much more than her.
