Gladys,
I am posting this for all to view here on the Offill Forum.
I would like to ask you to forgive me. You took your time and wrote to me with vital info concerning the Offill-Payne part of my genealogy and of course, I didn't even look, thinking I just knew this and that, but then I did look. And I am so ashamed.
It's even more than that, we are cousins. Not close, but still we do have a link.
I do hope you will not think the rest of this part of the family is as head long as I am.
My son just told me the other day I was more head long than any one he knew. I should have listened way back when my Granny told me the same thing. And I do have to apologize when it happens and pray for the best.
I hope you will forgive me. You were absolutely right about Phoebe Offill and I was absolutely wrong. There is no way she could have been in Knox County,KY.
I just humbly ask your forgiveness.
Sincerely,
Sue Bryant
