I have John's parents as William OFFILL (b. 1700 in Nansemond, Va.,d. Orange?, Va.), and Mary Rucker. William's father was John OFFILL (b. 1680 in Nansemond, Va.,d. Orange?, Va.). The earliest Offill I have is William OFFILL (b. 1660 in Nansemond?, Va, d. 1712 in Westmoreland, Ct.). I don't have verified documentatin on this early lineage. I believe it listed this way at the LDS site.
