Sr s/o Joseph SUMNER b 1748 & Martha PHILLIPS; 1860 Wright Co #274 Isaac is 52 and 3rd wife Sarah Jane is 25 b in TN; Isaac was Treasurer of Wright Co in 1856.

Duke08mMOschb 1844; he served in the State Guard when the Civil War broke out after one year he returned home and gathered up about fifty men to form a gang that rode the countryside. Duke killed Polk STEPHENS in 1862 and then went to Randolph Co AR and was killed there, by horse thieves in 1877; see WRIGHT CO HISTORY BOOK I pg 570; he m Caroline MOORE.
