Officers of Glenbervie 1714 onwards

There were several OFFICERs who emigrated to New Zealand.
1868. John Officer left with his family for New Zealand on board the Schleswig Bride from Glasgow on 24 June and arrived in Port Chalmers on 8 October 1868. There were 268 passengers and there were 4 deaths during the voyage, including John's daughter Betsy Egedia on 27 September. Hansen was the name of the ship's captain. The ship was 1,100 tons. John and Mary SPARK had 13 children and the only ones who did not emigrate were Joseph who had died in 1858, and James who married Margaret SKINNER and was a Grocer in Aberdeen.
1877: James OFFICER and Barbara TEVENDALE emigrated to New Zealand from Glasgow on board the Albion Company's 'James Nichol Fleming' on 15 July 1877 which was carrying 249 emigrants to Port Chalmers, Otago. They arrived on 3rd October after passing the Bluff on 2 October.
This was probably to join their sons Alexander and William who also emigrated but I do not know when - any information would be appreciated.
James was the son of William OFFICER and Ann WEIR and grandson of William OFFICER in Hawkhill, Glenbervie.
1920: Charles Gordon Reid OFFICER and his wife Marjory Watt McROBB emigrated in July with their four children – Charles Gordon Reid, Colin Campbell, Menzies Campbell and John. Their father returned at some point to the UK as he died in 1916 at Ramsgate, Kent, England, whilst their children stayed on in New Zealand.
The children listed by Corey are those of James and Margaret SKINNER:
James b. 19 Oct 1869 and married 1897 Anne Cruickshank SCRIMGEOUR and remarried 1924 to Isabella Grant MURRAY
Mary Spark b. 11 May 1872
George Riddoch b. 29 Dec 1873 and married 1897 Mary Theresa Gray THOM
Charles Gordon Reid b. 14 June 1876 and married 1903 Marjory Watt McROBB
John Alexander William b. 28 January 1879 and married 1916 Alice Daisy ROBERTSON
Margaret Aida b. 29 June 1881
The children listed by Sheena for James OFFICER are for two families not known to be related to William OFFICER in Hawkhill.
George was the son of James OFFICER in Mains of COWDEN and Margaret RITCHIE, and he was the son of James OFFICER in Mains of Dillevaird, Glenbervie.
The other six are children of James OFFICER in Rumbleyond, Fetteresso and female MURRAY. His parents have not been identified.
John
