Hi Ted,
Would you have any other information on your Paselk family to see if there is any connection? Would you know who the parents are of your Herman (Harry) T Paselk? My Paselk's came from Wildberg, Germany (Carl C.F. Paselk - aka charles) b. 9 Mar 1829 married to Elfrieda Henrietta Dorothy Paselk and they died in Detroit, Michigan. He died 30 Nov 1893.
They had 6 children.
1. William about 1859
2. Emilie Matilda 22 Aug 1860
3. Herman Carl F. Paselk 16 Oct 1863 - d. 1936 Detroit, MI
m. Anna Fielitz Detroit, MI.
He had 13 children - one of them Max Paselk was b. in Detroit, MI 1895 married and moved to Redondo Beach, Calif. He and his wife are deceased but their son lives in California and is a professor at a college there and has a PASELK website for genealogy and about his college research. You might want to check it out.

Do any of these names sound familiar? I ask because who knows we may be connected back to the Paselk family before they came here from germany. Do you know what where your Paselk family came from?
