Ralph, the email address wasn't a complete address so I'll have to post here. Yes, it's definitely the same family. It looks like you are my dad's first cousin. I talked to my dad, Ralph Scott (yes, another Ralph) and he doesn't recall there ever being both a Carl and a Charles in the family. He's wondering if they are one and the same. Also, he would like to know what, if any, information you have on the Oelke family. We never really had any information on this side of the family and I am trying to research it for my dad. Based on my research so far, I think Grandma Oelke's maiden name was Raduege, and I think they all came from West Prussia. Also, do you know who Frederic and Amalie Holz were? My grandma (Mollie Oelke) received a small German bible from them as a young girl. Please email me directly at pmccown@charter.net. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Your cousin,
Patti McCown
