I'm sorry, I don't know about any cemetery plots. As I am aware of is that a whole slew (some might say an infestation) of Oelke(s) settled and got 40 acre plots near Nebraska City.I always though it was near a little place called Potter's Crossing. My grandfather, August Oelke, apparently lost his plot due to the depression. My dad took me there in '53, or so. I recall every where I went there were Oelke(s), some out to about the fifth cousin level. My dad had a cousin Fritz, who was married to an Irene, they had two children, David and Nancy. Fritz and Irene were killed in a car accident about '55 and David I was told was wheelchair bound.I have never heard any more about Nancy or David, but I would like to.
The dates who mention are correct for that it about when my grandparents were born.
My parents came out to San Francisco, toward the end of the depression.I was born in San Francisco raised nearby.I now am an Administrative Law Judge near Sacramento, CA.
I am just trying to locate some of my relatives, for I really don't have any.
