I would be happy to send this information but I don't know where to send it. It is in paper form right now but I do have a scanner. I have the family history back to about 1500. I Also have the coat of arms but this should be readily available. This coat of arms is described in the family history and it seems to be correct. The name was changed very early and hasn't changed since to the best of my knowledge. I did note that some families in the northen parts of the U. S. seem to call the name "oler" where as we call it "aler". Of course neither have the original German pronencation. A lot of people here (who don't know) originally call it "oler" but we correct them. I guess the northen families just got tired or making corrections. There are several messages on this list that note that they want the paper information but I don't know how to get in contact with them. Do you know this "millisa Oehler". She answered a question about my grandfather Guido Oehler and I am trying to contact her. I want to give her this info. as well. My E-mail is: bexcel@juno.com My phone is 817-265-3789, phone and fax Notify Administrator about this message?
